I was so disappointed to hear last week of the cancellation of The Scott Wilder Show on The WORD (100.7 FM). I have appreciated Scott’s insight on the program over the past 12 years and can truly say his voice will be sorely missed on the airwaves.
Scott is a good friend and longtime member of Prestonwood. He has also been in the studio with me over the past six years, introducing PowerPoint Ministries—which, in fact, airs on The WORD at 8:00 a.m. each weekday.
Like many others of you out there, I’m going to miss Scott’s show. But God is faithful and I’m excited to see what He has in store for Scott in the coming days.

Scott just told it the way it was. I for one appreciated His ability to effective comunicate what was really happening.
I'll miss him,

There is definitely a hole left by Scott and Lauren's absence.
I was so disappointed to hear Scott was not on the Word any more. I actually called into the station to find out if he was on vacation and what was going on. When they said he was no longer with the station I was in Shock! I love Scott and Lauren. Scott has taught me so much over the last 12 years. He has taught me how to approach conversations on politics and religion and made me better with my debating skills. Most importantly he has helped me grow in my walk with the Lord. I pray that he will be back on the air somewhere soon. We need a strong Christian voice on the radio that keeps us focused on life and life’s situations from Gods perspective.
I too lost my job just 2 weeks ago and I know how hard it is. But God is still in control. He has something better for both of you. Sometimes He has to ruffle up the nest to get us to fly in the direction He has set for us. We get too comfortable to make the move on our own. The WORD station has lost but God has gained. My prayers are with both of you and your families. I am excited to see where the Lord is going to send you next. God Bless.
Yours in Christ Ella Ray McDaniel
It was a real shock to hear about Scott's show being ripped from the airways. But I trust Christ this will work out.
Nice Blog - 1st time visitor.
Was a Prestonwood member years ago.
Steve!
I thought you were on vacation when I didn't hear you on the radio. Then I found out. I'm so sorry. I will really really miss you. You were the best thing that ever happened to radio.
I'm sure that God will move you into a wonder direction and we will pray for you and your family. You have kept everyone so informed with everything going on. I have never had so much insight that you have given me. Thank you so much.
I will miss you.

Hi Scott,
I was so shocked not to find you on the radio. I am a new listner and I have learned so much from you. I will be praying for you and your entire family. I pray that you will be back on the radio soon.
Yours in Christ Lynn Parsley
Why in the world would 100.7 cut this part of their radio program off OF ALL THE PROGRAMS? I cried, I miss the Scott Wilder show, I miss Lauren Litner, and now I am angry. What in the world is 100.7 thinking? I trust Christ has a better plan, but waiting on the Lord is difficult as I pray through these emotions. I don't like change. Never have. And yet God changes me still.
Love you Jack, Scott & Lauren,
Gail Hargrove
