2B - Rogers Hornsby
3B - Mike Schmidt

Closer - Mariano Rivera
Go Rangers!
Brad
"Bang The Drum Slowly" with Robert De Niro was a real good one. I highly recommend it.
My husband and I love The Rookie.
Diana
Dr. G- I can't believe you left "The Rookie" off your list!
And was pleased to see that none of the "Major League" efforts were on there!
Great list!
Great list, Pastor, your includes all of my favorites, just in a slightly difference order.
The Pride of the Yankees
The Bronx is Burning (For a lifetime Yankee fan that season was, without question, "The Best of Times, the Worst of Times. Nettles said it best, "He had always want to be in the Circus and play baseball & he was able to do both playing for the Boss' Yankees!")
Field of Dreams
It happens Every Spring
The Natural
The Rookie has to be on the list....the Natural is my favorite with Sandlot a close second then the Rookie...
The Sandlot is by far my favorite... all-time guilty pleasure? Rookie of the Year. Loved it when I was a kid.
Major League
Yeah, it's comedy, but it has some of the best actor-ball player performances going.
The Stratton Story. An oldie and I haven't seen in years, Pastor. But I'm a sucker for a Jimmy Stewart movie.
'Bout a pitcher who loses a leg in a hunting accident and goes on to pitch in the majors.
The Sandlot
"You're killin' me Smalls!"
Oh and
Field of Dreams
Dr. G
Field of Dreams all the way!!! When John and Ray have a catch it always brings me to tears as I am reminded of the many years lost with my father due to growing up in a split home. It also challenges me to go have a catch as often as I can with my 15 year old daughter who is addicted to softball and my 10 year old son who wants to be the next great Texas Ranger!
