One of the things I love most is going to Rangers Ballpark with my family. Ian, our grandson, went with us on Friday night to see our beloved Rangers play the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team with the best record in the league and a Hall of Fame manager in Joe Torre. It was a scorcher of a night and we hoped that heat would translate onto the field since our offense has been ice-cold recently. We actually did witness some offense and a 6-0 win— the second shutout in a row, in fact, for the Rangers.
And Ian had a great time. Now, he’s only 4, and this isn’t just his grandfather bragging on him, but he’s incredibly sharp. He knows the players on the field and understands what’s going on. Of course, we’ve been practicing with him for a few years now and in his just-completed inaugural T-ball season, he showed flashes of being a five-tool player already! (See photos of him in action in an April posting on this blog.)
Ian loves baseball and he loves his Texas Rangers ... and he loves his large popcorn! And I love watching Ian have a great time. These are great memories for me and for him. Do you have kids or grandkids? Take some time this summer and go make some memories.

I am happy for you Pastor. Maybe I will have chance to become scout for Professional team in the future.
Since i have been coaching at Junior College Baseball level for last couple years.
Just trust to see how the Lord works in the future for my life. Give him all the praise and glory for what he has done.
Pastor you are man of God that has touch my life, even though you are thousands miles away from me. You have love for Jesus and baseball like I do.
I love you Pastor Jack
... thanks ... Dean (Romans 1:8-13)
