HISTORIC INAUGURATION
I hope that you all had the opportunity yesterday to witness history as Barack Obama was sworn in as the 44th president of this great country. We gathered in the Worship Center with Prestonwood Christian Academy students, teachers, parents and our church staff to view the ceremony. As I said to those watching with us yesterday, it is critical that we pray for President Obama and America’s leaders during this time of transition. Please take a few moments to hear my comments regarding this monumental event.

Jack, I appreciate your words so much. I thank God for raising you up to lead so many - a balanced and strong voice - thanks!
Pastor, Thank you for your words concerning our responsibility to bathe our president in prayer. Even though there are issues on which we disagree, we must pray for our elected officials consistently and sincerely.
Pastor Graham -
Thank you so much for your positive perspective on the inauguration. Before the election, some pastors were telling their flocks that people who supported Barack Obama were not raised with morals and values. It's great to hear the country coming together now to support our new president.
My 11 year old daughter and I were humbled to be invited to attend the inauguration. To hear the excitement and see the tears of so many African-Americans reminded me of God's Word, where we're taught that preseverence through hard times, even when we are sinned against, teaches us to depend on God for our strength, and to seek His guidance in all things.
